The Southern coast of Crimea represents the oasis of the subtropical climate, which is beginning from cape Ayya in the West and coming to an end to the east at Alushta.
The unique countryside and landscapes of the Southern coast are impossible to find elsewhere! So many extraordinary natural monuments, so much cultural history of many millennia, much of which has world importance!
The Southern coast is a place where you are met with the warm tender sea and a strip of a dazzling bright subtropical beaches, and in the evening - colorized fires of restaurants, attractions and discotheques.
It is also necessary to mention the well-known health-improving effect provided by the magnificent climate of the coast, which freshening breezes promote treatment of diseases of the top respiratory ways, nervous system and blood circulation. Plenty of excellent Health-Centres, many being superior in technology to Western ones, are located along the Southern Coast.
We'd like to invite you to Simeiz, wonderful subtropical settlement, most favourite place of summer rest for Russian elite, which built its beautiful villas and palaces here since the middle of XIXth century - a wonderful pearl at the very middle of Southern coast. Defended from cold northern winds by mountains, Simeiz has got warm, moderately dry, mild-subtropical climate, which belongs only to this very part of Crimea. It is warmer in winter and cooler in summer here, than in Yalta. Refreshing breezes weaken summer heat. Plenty of sun, warm sea, evergreen parks and the air itself, breathed easily even in the hottest days and known for its curative effects - all that makes climate very enjoyable.
It is also very comfortable to arrange the excursions to places of interest along the coast from Simeiz and to return back to its green and shady streets and parks, eccentric night life and cleanest beaches of Southern coast.

- Vorontsovsky palace. Count Vorontsov's summer residence built by English architect Edward Blor. A separate masterpiece is the palace park.
- Livadia palace. Big Livadia palace - a former summer residence of last Russian emperor Nikolay II, and the place where "The Big Three" - Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill decided the destinies of post-war world in 1945. The palace is erected under the project of academician N.P.Krasnov in style of the Italian Revival.
- Nikitsky botanical gardens. The green treasury, Nikitsky botanical garden is located 6 kilometers from Yalta. The first trees of the future garden have been planted above a slope under village Nikita in memorable for Russia 1812. Now its collection totals over 58 thousand kinds of plants from all continents of the world. The excursion around Nikitsky garden will get you acquainted with representatives of flora of all subtropical areas of our planet.
- Ay-Petri mountain. The most impressing top of the Southern coast. The longest in Europe cable-ride allows to reach the top at 1234 m and enjoy magnificient view of the coastline on one side and mountains on the other.
